Bonjour chez Salut!

Come home in charm..

An ode to French flair and Mediterranean flavour, Salut is a restaurant and bar in the heart of De Pijp, Amsterdam, on Gerard Douplein around the corner from the Albert Cuyp market. Expect Mediterranean dishes with a French and Flemish touch: oysters and plates to share, Moules Pastis, steak frites, an extensive wine list and handcrafted cocktails.
Come for a long lunch from Thursday to Sunday or for dinner from Wednesday to Sunday, in a casual yet elegant setting. Reservations are welcome, but you can always just walk in.

Interior design by J.P. Demeyer

The interior was created by Jean-Philippe Demeyer, Architectural Digest AD100 architect from JP DEMEYER & CO. “With Salut we wanted to embrace a cheerful, bold design that feels playful and personal, a daily dose of design joy, wrapped in interior couture,” says Demeyer.

The name Salut...

Salut means both ‘hi’ and ‘cheers’ in French, a simple word with a warm soul. Just like the space itself, it’s relaxed, inviting, and a little flirtatious. A tribute to the good life, in all its small and delicious moments.
